Amy Connell, Assistant Director
Amy has 9 years experience in clogging and 7 years in Irish dance. Amy co-directs our National Award Winning Clogging Teams and the Celtic Rhythm Irish Dancers. Amy was named "All American" by the American Clogging Hall of Fame and "All State" by the Georgia Clogging Leaders Association in 2006.
When not dancing, Amy enjoys anything related to the arts. She is a graduate of Augusta State University, where she was active in the theatre program. Amy twirls a mean baton and twirled with the Southern Strut Majorettes for 15 years. Amy is a Media Relations Specialist at the Medical College of Georgia.

Mamie McAbee, Director
Mamie has been dancing since the age of 3. Starting with Tap, Ballet, and Jazz, she then moved into clogging, and eventually irish step. Mamie has 25 years experience in clogging, and 8 years in irish step. In addition to directing an award winning team, Mamie has been named "Palmettos Finest" by the South Carolina Clogging Council and "All American" by America's Clogging Hall of Fame. She has also placed Overall Grand Champion Female at numerous regional and national competitions.
Aside from Directing the dance teams, she's now a dance mom. Mamie is the mother of two little 'rhythm rascals', Mattie & Jace. Mamie also promotes tourism in Augusta and has worked with the Augusta Convention & Visitors Bureau for over 11 years.
